Hi There!

Kaylyn Hall is a junior at Lenoir-Rhyne University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with minors in Psychology and Photography. She has been performing for more than a decade and has appeared in over 50 productions across North Carolina. Currently, Kaylyn is a company member in the 89th season of The Lost Colony in Manteo, North Carolina. Last summer, she traveled across the country as a Tour Actor/Director with Missoula Children's Theatre, sharing her passion for theatre with young performers in communities nationwide.

Since stepping onto the stage at the age of eight, Kaylyn has been captivated by the power of storytelling and the connections it creates. She is passionate about bringing authentic, emotionally grounded characters to life and believes theatre has the unique ability to inspire, challenge, and unite audiences. Some of her favorite roles include Sally Bowles (Cabaret), Medium Alison (Fun Home), Wednesday Addams (The Addams Family), Natalie Goodman (Next to Normal), Janet Van De Graaff (The Drowsy Chaperone), and Sandra/Florence Colleymoore (The Play That Goes Wrong).

At Lenoir-Rhyne, Kaylyn is an active member of Alpha Psi Omega, the National Theatre Honor Society, where she has served as Social Chair. She holds the position of Theatre Program Assistant, where she supports the department through event coordination, production assistance, and student engagement while continuing to grow as both an artist and leader. She has been a performer with the university's improv troupe, Bear With Us, continuing to develop her skills in comedy, collaboration, and spontaneous storytelling.

As a performer, Kaylyn is always looking for opportunities to grow. She is a mezzo-soprano with a vocal range of E3–E6. She enjoys exploring a wide variety of roles and is committed to lifelong learning as both an artist and educator.

When she's not on stage, Kaylyn loves spending time outdoors, capturing moments through photography, playing volleyball, babysitting, and making memories with friends. Whether performing, teaching, or creating behind the scenes, she strives to bring creativity, kindness, and authenticity to every project.

Kaylyn is always excited to collaborate with fellow artists, directors, and creative teams. Whether you're casting a production, developing a new work, or looking for a passionate performer, she'd love to connect. It’s a liberation to know that an act of spontaneous courage is yet possible in this world. An act that has something of unconditional beauty.
